Safe gym for the children's center

The Otradne Creativity Center for Children and Families works for children and adults from socially vulnerable categories in Kharkiv. For almost 25 years, the door is open for large, crisis, single-parent families. For them, this is almost the only opportunity for the development of their children, because due to lack of funds, not everyone can pay for visiting various sections for their children. Every year 800 people attend 20 development clubs.

In 2021, as part of the project, we got our own premises for the Center, before that it was located in a rented house. Today the Center's gym is being renovated. To make it comfortable, practical, safe for children, we need to buy a tatami mat. For this we need UAH 33,300.

Attending sports sections is a very important component for the full development of the child, both boys and girls. Sport gives strength, true skills, forms discipline and endurance. For children from socially disadvantaged groups, attending sports clubs is an important factor in socializing and communicating with others. We really want these children to be able to develop harmoniously and communicate with peers, regardless of their parents' financial income.
