Life-saving oxygen for babies

If child is in a hurry to see this world and is born before 28 weeks, then he has to make great efforts to breathe. His lungs are "undisclosed". Oxygen is not heated but not moisturized, devastatingly affects the lung tissue cells, reduces the production of vital substances – surfactant violates vascular tone and blood flow changes of the lung tissue. This provokes the development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia, in connection with which the children are dependent on oxygen for several months and have to be in the hospital for a long time.

Furthermore, an excess amount high concentration of oxygen in the mixture, wherein the child breathes, leading to retinal vascular lesion with subsequent partial or complete blindness child. Heating, humidification and precise control of the concentration of oxygen to prevent the development of severe complications in premature infants, improves their development and quality of life.
