Carlsberg Ukraine transferred 50,000 euros for prostheses for Ukrainians

The Carlsberg Ukraine company supported the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center.

The collection for state-of-the-art prostheses for civilians and military personnel, which have already begun to be installed in Lviv, in the national rehabilitation center Unbroken on the basis of the First Medical Association, continues. 50,000 euros of charity contribution was directed by the Carlsberg Ukraine company. The "Prostheses for the Unbroken" collection continues together with the largest charity platform in Ukraine dobro.ua.

In total, more than 17,000 Ukrainians joined the collection, and more than 26 million hryvnias were collected.

The state-of-the-art prostheses in question are bionic prostheses. Thanks to special sensors, it will best of all devices be able to reproduce the function of a lost limb. A person tenses a muscle – and the brush reacts.

"Ukraine and its citizens are indomitable. Our company is proud that Lviv will become the city where the first complex ecosystem of rehabilitation for war victims will appear. We support the project because we believe in Ukraine, Ukrainians and our indomitability," comments the CEO of Carlsberg Ukraine Oleg Khaidakin.

According to the mayor of Lviv, Unbrokeni should become one of the largest rehabilitation centers in Ukraine. A special feature of this project is complex treatment by an interdisciplinary team of specialists. Unbroken Center is an ecosystem of care and support for people affected by war. The main goal of the project is the treatment, prosthetics and rehabilitation of Ukrainians in Ukraine.

In general, several hundred Ukrainians are waiting for prostheses.
