Little Mykhailo has a congenital heart defect: an open arterial duct, a wide open oval window, and enlargement of the left ventricle and atrium. Such disorders cause serious complications - the baby's heart is constantly overloaded, and his immunity is weakened. Due to frequent colds, the child is very weak. The doctors at the Regional Children's Hospital insist on an urgent surgery with the installation of a heart implant - an occluder. It will give Mykhailo a chance to grow up healthy.

The family lives in the village and has three children. The middle daughter also underwent heart surgery. The family has no financial means to pay for the treatment on their own.

Thanks to the support of the benefactors of the Saving Little Hearts with REJURAN campaign, they managed to raise funds and purchase an occluder worth UAH 116,202.

On April 17, 2025, doctors at the Amosov Heart Institute successfully performed endovascular surgery on Mykhailo. And today the boy is returning home.
