A gift to Dmytro from donors

Dmitry is 1 year and 11 months old. He is a very active boy who loves to play with toy cars and explore the world around him. Dmytro grows up with four older sisters, and very soon the family will have another baby.

Dmytro was diagnosed with congenital heart disease at birth. Doctors stressed that the boy needed surgery. However, for a large family with a small income, the purchase of an implant on their own was an overwhelming challenge.

The mother is now 8 months pregnant. The father is disabled due to a back injury and cannot work. The family turned to us for help.

On 24 December 2024, Dmytro successfully underwent endovascular surgery.

The occluder for the operation, worth UAH 134,071, was purchased thanks to the Saving Little Hearts with REJURAN campaign.
