The heart of little Yaroslava is saved!

Yaroslava Shulyak is a charming girl who has just turned one year old. But instead of a carefree childhood, her life has already been overshadowed by a serious diagnosis - congenital heart disease, an open arterial duct.

In the hospital, doctors heard a heart murmur and conducted an ultrasound that confirmed the diagnosis. During the first year of his life, doctors hoped to close the defect, but the examination showed that the duct had not closed. Now doctors emphasize that an urgent surgery is needed so that the girl can grow up healthy and happy.

Yaroslava's parents are a young family who started their life together when they were students. Now they rent a room in a dormitory. Her mother, a teacher by training, worked at a school before her maternity leave. Dad was recently forced to quit his job due to severe back problems and now takes on temporary jobs to support the family.

Unfortunately, the cost of the occluder for the surgery - 110,852 UAH - is unaffordable for the family.

On November 19, 2024, Yaroslava underwent endovascular surgery. The occluder for her heart was purchased thanks to the help of REJURAN
