Today is my birthday: 16 January.

On this day, I feel particularly grateful for the good fortune I have in life: my job allows me to witness goodness in action every day.

I am 45. It still feels strange to realise that I have had the honour of managing the dobro.ua platform for 15 years — a third of my life!

Some might say that's a lot of pain.

Thousands of meetings and thousands of difficult fates.

But at the same time, it's also an incredible amount of kindness, warmth and support.

Often these are quiet actions without loud words. Small steps that add up to a big impact.

Every day, I see people doing great things. It's real magic — it's impossible to get used to it. That's why we do what we do.

For many years, dobro.ua has been connecting people who want to help with those who need it.

Together with our team, we:

- check every project,

- ensure transparency and security,

We keep the platform running 24/7 and work without hidden fees.

The dobro.ua platform was created based on the belief that charity can be completely transparent.

That not a single hryvnia of human trust should 'disappear' along the way.

Every contribution should reach exactly those it was given to.

We believe that it is possible to build a charity infrastructure in Ukraine based on voluntary support.

Throughout this time, we have been supported by our partners, grantors and thousands of caring individuals. I will always speak about this with deep gratitude.

However, today, this support only covers part of the platform's expenses.

In order to help others, we also need help.

Administrative expenses are essential for the stable operation of a charity service.

This involves a team that keeps the whole process running every day.

This includes verifications, payment security, accounting, servers, IT support, content and responsibility for every fundraiser and every name on the website.

Asking for something for yourself is always the hardest thing to do.

However, it is even more difficult to disappoint tens of thousands of people across Ukraine, as well as hundreds of charitable foundations and partners.

Even the smallest contribution today — or better yet, regular payments — creates the opportunity to tell thousands of happy stories.

 dobro.ua works on the basis of trust.

This means that goodness never stops and has a voice.
