18 May and 27 May—these are the days when our parents gave both of us life. Due to the events of 24 February 2022, instead of celebrating our birthdays with our families and friendsas we usually did , we have decided to make every effort to do something good and worthy and suggest you join us in these efforts.
This year family and life have become values of particular importance to many of us, but despite the hard times and war in Ukraine, love rules the world. In September 2022 our baby girl will come into the world. Like all parents, we dream about a peaceful sky, healthy and happy childhood for each child. We know that at present many parents have encountered the worst thing possible in their lives and they are doing their best to fight for the lives of their children in many hospitals near the front line. We are eager to help them.
We are appealing to all our friends and all caring people to do good and support raising funds for the Zaporizhzhia regional children’s hospital, which is at the forefront of providing assistance to the young casualties of the war’s current hot spots.
Every day children with shrapnel and bullet wounds, burns, heavy injuries are brought to the hospital from Ukraine’s Donetsk, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Many children are in critical condition. The limbs of some of them had to be amputated. It is the place where the lives of the kids who were lucky to escape from the hell created by Russian occupiers in Mariupol are being saved. The hospital personnel work 24/7 without stop, they practically live at their workplace.
In order to save the children, they need high-quality materials and equipment.
In particular, there is an urgent need to acquire such anesthetic and hemostatic facilities as:
- an anesthesia rebreathing workstation;
- patient modular monitors with capnography;
- hemostatic and anesthetic toolsequipment.
We believe that a good action, no matter how small, spreads good to many people and has an impact on the future of many generations. If united, we can make a difference by doing innumerous good deeds and acquire the badly needed medical equipment for the injured children.
