What do you associate Christmas with? Apparently, you immediately imagine a warm get-together with your family – with kutia and other delicious dishes. In addition, of course, remember the rites: the nativity scene, favorite carols, and common prayer. Definitely, you are happy to have the opportunity to spend Christmas with your family. Moreover, you thank God for this opportunity.
However, many children cannot fully enjoy the Christmas holidays. Many of the children did not sit at the big family table and do not know certain traditions. Moreover, the reason of this state is orphans or children who are in difficult life circumstances. Every year, the “You are an Angel” Charitable Foundation organizes a Christmas Together event for orphans. This is a joint celebration of winter holidays in accordance with local traditions. Every year, our volunteers select the most interesting places for them, which can give kids many positive emotions and recreate Christmas with loved ones.
Every year, the “You are an Angel” Charitable Foundation spends three days with pupils of social institutions in Prykarpattia. A real Christmas Eve with traditional dishes is organized for them. The kids go to the village to sing carols and celebrate the Nativity of Christ. Moreover, they remember the customs and traditions that are followed in their family or village. During the “Christmas together” children will have exciting winter fun, excursions, games that will help to give truly positive emotions.
Christmas is coming. Therefore, our volunteers should not miss the chance to give children an unforgettable vacation. But it takes money. The average cost of the project “Christmas together” is UAH 50 000. We are sure that Christmas 2022 in the snowy Carpathians will be joyful and unforgettable.
