On 20 June 2024, Platon Perchuk, born in 2019, from Poltava region, underwent surgery.
Platosh is 5 years old. He is from the village of Shcherbani, Poltava region. His parents found out about the child's heart defect recently, when he was undergoing a medical examination for a karate section. Platon was sent to the children's regional hospital for a consultation with a cardiologist. The examination revealed a diagnosis of congenital heart disease - an open arterial duct.
At the Amosov Institute, the doctor confirmed that the heart surgery should be carried out immediately.
The cost of the implant was unaffordable for the family. The family is poor, with two children. The father's income is barely enough for a family of four. The mother is currently unemployed, looking after the child. Platosha is a smart and cheerful child. He dreams of playing sports. But his illness prevents him from doing so.
The family asked us to help their son become healthy.
On 20.06.2024, Platon underwent endovascular surgery. The occluder for the operation was purchased thanks to YBS International.
