kids against war - is a social art project with the goal of promoting an anti-war standpoint through children’s art, and raising money and support for child victims by holding creative workshops.

During the workshop army uniforms* play the role of a canvas: using paint, stencils, stickers and scraps children deconstruct military clothes into objects of their imagination, filling them with colours, patterns and shapes. In the process of creation, kids take apart a symbol of aggression and war, and rebuild it into one of innocence and optimism.

Workshops are aimed at children around the world from the age 2 to the age 10 regardless of nationality. At the time of the workshops, we are collecting donations from participating families. This way, art made by children who live in peace will help those children who live without it.

The outcome of the project is purposed to be exhibited and used in further art projects in support of world peace. The money raised within this project are purposed for initiatives and organisations focused on helping children around the world who’s lives were affected by war.
