The non-profit organization "Kids of Ukraine" was founded in 2022 with the aim of helping children and their families who were forced to leave their homes due to the war. In 2024, a charitable foundation was registered in Ukraine. The organization's main activity is focused on providing psychosocial support to teenagers affected by the war through educational, creative, rehabilitation, and leisure programs.
One of the key areas of the foundation's work is the "Svity" program, which creates conditions for psychological recovery and social adaptation and integration of adolescents aged 11 to 17. The program includes group and individual psychotherapy sessions, restorative practices, English language classes, master classes, art therapy, sound therapy, sports activities, excursions, and mutual support groups for parents.
During the foundation's work, four psychosocial support centers for adolescents were established in central and western Ukraine: in Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Zhytomyr. Approximately 1,500 children and their families have passed through these centers, receiving the necessary psychological assistance and support.
