ICO "CF "SOS Children’s Villages" Ukraine

SOS Children's Villages Ukraine is a charitable non-governmental organization that, since 2003, works systematically to prevent orphanhood in Ukraine, develops family-based care for children deprived of parental care and support young people leaving care. Our organization is a member of SOS Children’s Villages International (SOS Kinderdorf).

We work in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and pro-mote its principles. SOS Children's Villages Ukraine supports vulnerable families, preventing placement of children into institutional care, reinte-grating children from institutions into their biological families with provision of comprehensive support, giving orphans and children without paren-tal care the opportunity to grow up in caring family environment, getting everything they need for development in an atmosphere of love, respect and trust. The organization advocates for the rights of the target group at all levels of government to promote systemic change.

Since 2003, more than 250 children have received new families, more than 5,000 children have remained in their families and are receiving proper parental care, and more than 80,000 vulnerable children and adults have received various types of assistance.
