NGO "Emmaus" is a non-profit non-governmental organization established in Kharkiv in May 2011 to protect, adapt and socially integrate young orphans with disabilities from 18 to 35 years old. For 9 years, the organization has gone from volunteering to prepare for entrance of orphaned teens with disabilities to opening an adaptation center, 6 transition houses and inclusive hub, where we successfully carry out adaptation, educational support and social rehabilitation of young people with disabilities, orphans, lowincome, unemployed, large families and other people in difficult life circumstances.

NGO "Emmaus" established in 2011 to exercise and protect the rights and freedoms, public, including social, cultural, educational and other interests of young people with disabilities, orphans, the poor, the unemployed, large families and other people in difficult life circumstances.

The mission of the organization: To create friendly spaces for boarding school graduates and young people with disabilities: to accompany them in adulthood, to help them find their own vocation.

We work with young boys and girls with disabilities and orphans between the ages of 18 and 35, with teenagers studying in specialized boarding schools, with displaced children and their parents.  For each problem and difficult situation, we see a specific person with its unique capabilities and desires, and create the most favorable conditions for development and finding their own way.

The main task of the Organization is the adaptation, educational support and social rehabilitation of young people with disabilities, orphans, the poor, the unemployed, large families and other people in difficult life circumstances.
