The organization was founded in 2001 as a public initiative by a group of journalists who have teamed up in order to protect the rights of vulnerable children and families. In 2005, “Magnolia” was registered as a Ukrainian national nongovernmental organization.
Currently, the organization's activities are conducted in 4 main areas:
- SEARCH FOR MISSING DURING WAR UKRAINIAN CHILDREN AND ENSURE THEIR FAMILIE`S REUNIFICATION.
- DOCUMENTATION OF WAR CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN AND ADVOCACY TO PROTECT UKRAINIAN CHILDREN FROM ANY FORM OF VIOLENCE.
- COMBATING VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN AND SUPPORT INVESTIGATIONS OF THOSE CRIMES .
- PROMOTING THE EUROPEAN INTEGRATION OF UKRAINE .
In 2015, NGO "Magnolia" became a co-founder of The Ukrainian Child Rights Network.
In November 2017, we joined in the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children "Missing Children Europe".
In 2024, NGO "Magnolia" joined of the International Association "INHOPE" as a member.
