On 13 July 2023, Adelina Izvekova, born in 2021, underwent surgery

Adelina was born in Bakhmut. When she was three months old, doctors discovered a heart defect, but the child could not undergo surgery because she was not gaining the necessary weight. When Adelina was one year old, the family was forced to flee from the shelling of the Russian occupiers from their hometown. Now the family, which consists of Adelina, her mother and her great-grandmother, lives in Odesa in a rented apartment.

On 13 July 2023, thanks to a charitable donation from YBS International, Adelina underwent surgery to install a heart implant. It cost UAH 113,955.00.

Now Adelina feels great, doctors continue to monitor her condition and prepare her for discharge in the coming days.
