20 families received invaluable support
20 families in Kyiv received food packages thanks to the “Feed the Hungry! 4” project
64 people, including 29 children, received food assistance as part of the “Feed the Hungry! 4” charity project. For most families, this support became an opportunity to reduce their financial burden for at least a month and direct funds to other needs of the family and children.
On July 2, 20 food packages weighing over 16 kg each were distributed at the Kyiv Foundation office. Their contents should last at least a month.
The assistance was mainly provided to families affected by the war. 17 families are internally displaced persons from Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions. Also among the recipients are families raising children with disabilities, single-parent and large families, as well as the family of a military serviceman.
For families who are simultaneously dealing with the consequences of war, loss of income, forced displacement, or the difficulties associated with a child's disability, such assistance is not just food. It is an opportunity to breathe a little. To redirect funds to the most necessary. And to feel that there are people nearby who are ready to support.
"Feed the Hungry! 4" proves once again: food aid is about dignity, stability, and the ability to survive when a family is especially difficult.
We are grateful to each and every person for supporting such important projects, for your time, attention, and money.
