We delivered aid to Chernivtsi Central City Clinical Hospital and Podil City Hospital
It is impossible to imagine human existence without oxygen. Needless to say, it is even more important for a newborn and premature baby! Neonatologists use a pulse oximeter to measure the level of oxygen in the blood of a newborn baby.
Such a device is used in pediatrics in every intensive care unit. The sensors of the pulse oximeter cover a wide range of measurements, allowing medical professionals to get more information about the current state of the infant. All readings are instantly displayed on the screen. If the oxygen level drops below a critical level, the pulse oximeter will sound an alarm, allowing doctors to respond quickly and start resuscitation.
Thanks to a charitable cashback from Monobank customers and the Courage project, we managed to transfer 3 pulse oximeters to Chernivtsi and 1 to Podilsk.
As part of the project, which is still being collected, the goal is to help three hospitals and provide each with several pieces of equipment. Anyone can contribute and help purchase equipment for the regions.
