In Dnipro, premature babies will now receive even better care from the very first moments of life.
The Regional Family Health Medical Center has received an infrared heater and a resuscitation table for the neonatal intensive care unit. This equipment is used immediately after birth—at a time when every minute counts and the baby’s condition can change very quickly.
Premature babies are among the most vulnerable patients. They cannot regulate their body temperature on their own, often require immediate stabilization, additional respiratory support, and constant monitoring. That is why the quality and availability of equipment in the first minutes of life directly affect the child’s future condition.
This equipment was acquired as part of the “Premature Babies” charity project, which the Nutrilon brand has been organizing for several years in a row in the run-up to World Prematurity Day. The project consistently raises awareness about premature birth while delivering tangible results—helping hospitals obtain critically needed equipment for their neonatal units.
In 2025, the goal was to raise over half a million hryvnias to purchase this specific equipment for Dnipro. Nutrilon provided 350,000 hryvnias through a corporate donation. The remaining amount was raised thanks to donors who joined the initiative—and this is what made it possible to fully meet the need.
The fundraiser was carried out in partnership with the dobro.ua platform and the Svichado Charitable Foundation. As a result, the hospital received vital equipment that is already in use in the unit.
For doctors, this means more opportunities to act quickly and without delay in critical situations. For the hospital, it means the stable operation of the department without a shortage of basic supplies. For children, it means better conditions right from the start of life.
Thank you to everyone who became part of this project! Working together yields very concrete and tangible results.
