How the "Unbreakable Mom" changes lives: research
A study of the psychological state of women who underwent the Unbreakable Mother psycho-emotional stabilization program from the Masha Foundation showed that three weeks of work with psychologists in the project's offline camp halved the level of symptoms of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress and increased the level of vitality. For a year and a half, we have been talking about how the psychologists of "Unbreakable Mother" bring back to life women and their children who suffered from the war. And these are not just words. At the beginning and at the end of the program, our beneficiaries undergo a psychological evaluation for the level of depression, anxiety, presence of PTSD, and vitality. The difference between the initial indicators in the questionnaires and the data at the finish line is impressive. Masters of the department "Clinical Psychology with the basics of cognitive-behavioral therapy" of the Ukrainian Catholic University decided to analyze the work of the "Unbreakable Mom" program. The result of this analysis was a 21-page study. We will bring the most important from this report.
- Our task was to investigate the effectiveness of the "Unbreakable Mother" program from the "Masha Foundation" and conduct a factor analysis. That is, to understand what exactly affects the improvement of the mental state of the project participants, says the UCU. - We analyzed data on the condition of 108 women before and after completing the program. And they found that symptoms of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress were halved! Signs of vitality, on the contrary, increased by 33%. The numbers we see are impressive and help us move further towards our goal: the revival of women for the revival of the country.
