News June 2026
Melanka is actively continuing her recovery following her previous operation and is preparing for her next procedure, scheduled for the end of June this year.
At the end of April, the cast was removed from her leg and her stitches were taken out, which greatly improved her condition. Since the beginning of May, Melanka has been attending sessions with a physiotherapist, which have already yielded positive results.
She has also continued her studies with her teachers, steadily moving forward, step by step.
On warm days, the little girl enjoys going for walks in her pushchair, which brings her great joy. At home, Melanka doesn’t waste any time — she reads books, draws and creates various figures using a magnetic construction set.
Her mum expresses her sincere gratitude to everyone who supports their family during this difficult time.
This year, Melanka successfully completed Year 5! She was even able to attend the school’s end-of-term ceremony, which was a real joy for her. She is now on holiday, spending time in the village, recharging her batteries and enjoying some rest. In addition, her mum has organised online sessions with a psychologist and a speech therapist to continue working on important skills. Melanka is moving forward with confidence, step by step!
