Vika sees a speech therapist twice a week and also works with specialists at her nursery school, but she is not yet speaking. Her speech is gradually improving and her vocabulary is expanding.

Viktoria has Down syndrome. Constant rehabilitation and sessions with a speech therapist, defectologist, and rehabilitation specialist are extremely important for her.

In addition, specialists recommend developing fine motor skills, as this stimulates brain activity and helps with speech development.

Only her father works in the family, and a significant part of their income goes towards rent. Her parents do everything they can for their daughter, but it is very difficult to cope with all the expenses on their own.

We have launched a fundraiser so that in February, Vika can undergo a course of rehabilitation at the Ioannovo Centre, including massage, exercise therapy, and sensory integration. This is an important step towards her development, new skills, and greater independence.
