Yana needs medication and a special diet every day. Her condition is worsening, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult for her family to manage on their own. Yana’s parents have disabilities due to neurological conditions, so her grandparents take care of her.

Until she was nine months old, Yana could sit up, roll over, and reach for toys. Viral encephalitis changed everything. She began having seizures, lost the skills she had acquired, and doctors later diagnosed her with cerebral palsy.

Yana cannot eat on her own; she is fed through a feeding tube. She cannot clear her throat on her own—her family uses a suction device. When her oxygen saturation drops, they administer inhalations and use an oxygen concentrator.

Due to grade IV scoliosis, Yana has almost stopped sitting up. Specialized nutrition helps her maintain her weight, and medication helps manage her condition.

Let’s help Yana! It’s much easier to raise the necessary amount together.
