News October 2025

Max has a dream. He wants to play basketball, try boxing, study and live like all his peers. Max is now 13 and has been living with diabetes for six years.
Instead of a carefree childhood, he has daily insulin injections and up to 160 finger pricks per month. Constant glucose monitoring, fear of night-time hypoglycaemia, when sleep can become dangerous. If they manage to buy sensors, the number of pricks is reduced significantly.
The sensors measure glucose levels every 5 minutes and transmit the data to a phone. One sensor works for 14 days, and those 2 weeks are free of injections, pain and fear for Maksym's family.
Unfortunately, the family's resources have long been exhausted: Max's older brother has a congenital heart defect, his father works as a loader at the port, and his mother is with the children every day. They are holding on, but they cannot cope on their own.
We have launched a fundraiser to provide Maxim with sensors for a year.
This is a year of childhood, joy, peaceful nights and new dreams.
Let's give Max and his family a life without fear and pain!
