Trench candles for defenders

On November 12, 2025, the fundraising campaign for producing trench candles for our defenders officially came to an end. Thanks to your generous support, we successfully implemented the project and provided essential assistance to our soldiers on the front line.

With the donated funds, volunteers produced 1,090 alcohol-based trench candles, all of which have already been delivered to the frontline. A total of 75 dedicated volunteers took part in the project, collecting 650 liters of alcohol-based antiseptic and 20 kilograms of cotton wool needed for candle production.

The project expenses amounted to 20,000.00 UAH (twenty thousand hryvnias 00 kopecks). The following materials were purchased:

• 790 metal containers of 0.5 L

• 300 metal containers of 0.25 L

All candles were carefully produced during volunteer workshops and handed over to military chaplains, who delivered them directly to the trenches. Humanitarian Nova Poshta covered the logistics, for which we express special gratitude.

Distribution of candles by direction:

• 540 candles – Pokrovsk direction

• 550 candles – Sloviansk direction

Thanks to this project, we were able to provide Ukraine’s defenders with trench candles that help them stay warm and meet basic daily needs under combat conditions. Each candle is a symbol of support from the home front and an important contribution to our shared struggle for victory.
