Extension of the project implementation period
Dear philanthropists! We are glad to inform you that we have posted a letter in the Documentation section informing you and the charity platform about the extension of the project implementation period.
Please read it, and the main points are provided below:
This project was created and funded thanks to Svitlana Panaiotidi's birthday. Svitlana dedicated her birthday to good deeds and encouraged all her friends to send donations to help our Children's Aid Center
"City of Happy Children". Thanks to her contribution, we were able to provide children with nutritious meals for three months and pay for the rent and utilities of the Center (especially in winter with expensive heating) for 4 months. The total amount of the project was UAH 511,500. In connection with the full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine by Russian troops and the introduction of martial law in our country on February 24, 2022, it was decided to evacuate the children of our Center to a safe place.
All the children and staff of the Center are looking forward to returning to their homes as soon as possible. According to the letter Nº01/09 dated September 07, 2023, the CO "CITY OF HAPPY CHILDREN" allowed to transfer funds in parts to the corporate card for the further purchase of food for the children of the Center at the place of their temporary stay. All funds that were unused as of September 07, 2023 were transferred to the corporate card. The report on the funds used in the amount of UAH 330,401.14 was submitted in August 2022, and the report on the funds used in the amount of UAH 58,020.80 was submitted in December 2023. Part of the funds allocated to pay for meals for children remained unused, namely UAH 123,078.06. These charitable funds will be used in 2024.
