Undergoing rehabilitation
The goal of the project was to raise funds for Varvara Matushevich and Melania Matushevich, as they have been diagnosed with childhood autism and require rehabilitation at the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology LLC.
Thanks to the platform of the Charitable Organization International Charitable Foundation “UBB” (dobro.ua) and donors, the necessary amount of 50,000.00 UAH was raised, The foundation paid for Varvara and Melania’s rehabilitation, and from February 17, 2026, to May 13, 2026, they successfully completed rehabilitation at the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology LLC. This rehabilitation is an important step toward their recovery and improved quality of life.
Following the completion of the comprehensive medical rehabilitation program, Varvara has shown positive progress in her psycho-emotional, speech, and behavioral development. Her speech production has improved; the child is now better able to express her own thoughts and engage in communication. Sensory information processing has also improved, and positive changes in eating behavior are noted; her sleep has normalized.
After completing the course of comprehensive medical rehabilitation, Melania has shown positive progress in the development of communication skills, behavioral regulation, and psycho-emotional state. Sensory perception has improved, engagement in the therapeutic process has increased, behavioral regulation has improved, manifestations of protest behavior and emotional lability have decreased, and social interaction has become more productive.
