Payment for social rehabilitation

The goal of the project was to raise funds for Polina Podgornaya, who has been diagnosed with atypical autism and needs a course of social rehabilitation services at the “World of Opportunities” Inclusive Center.

Thanks to the platform of the Charitable Organization International Charitable Foundation “UBB” (dobro.ua) and donors, the necessary amount of 30,000.00 UAH was raised. The “I Dream to Live” Charitable Foundation paid for Polina’s course of social rehabilitation services, and from April 13, 2026, to May 1, 2026, she successfully completed the course at the “World of Opportunities” Inclusive Center.

As part of the program, Polina received a comprehensive set of social rehabilitation services, specifically: social rehabilitation—10 sessions, daily living skills rehabilitation—10 sessions, educational support—10 sessions, and psychological support—10 sessions. All sessions were conducted on an individual basis with the child, taking into account her specific characteristics, psychological and emotional state, level of development, and current needs. 

This course marked an important milestone in supporting Polina’s development, improving her emotional well-being, sensory regulation, and social interaction, and helping her develop basic life skills. The specialists’ comprehensive approach focused on developing communication skills, increasing her interest in joint activities, and improving her concentration, motor coordination, and ability to follow simple instructions.

Upon completion of the course, the center’s specialists noted positive progress in Polina. She has become more engaged in the sessions, responds better to adults’ prompts, and shows increased interest in the proposed activities and interactions with the specialists. There has also been a reduction in anxiety, the gradual development of self-regulation skills, and an improvement in sensory perception.

The assistance provided enabled Polina to receive the necessary course of social rehabilitation services aimed at supporting her development, improving her quality of life and emotional well-being, and facilitating her future social adaptation.
