Rehabilitation completed!

Vitaliy successfully completed a 60-day rehabilitation course at the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center:

- 100 hours of individual classes with a physical therapist;

- 10 hours of classes with an occupational therapist;

- 80 hours of group and individual recreation classes.

Thanks to professional rehabilitation, Vitaliy learned to effectively control an active wheelchair. Thus, according to the Active Wheelchair Control Test (WST) version 5.3: at the beginning of rehabilitation there were 36 points, after the completion of rehabilitation it became 84 (out of 90 maximum). In addition, Vitaliy increased the level of physical fitness, endurance and strength.

The next stage is adaptation to the place of residence and further individual rehabilitation.
