We have purchased the first part of the feed as part of the project!
We purchased 112 bags (1,680 kg) of dog food, which was delivered to shelters: NGO "Dobropillya ZOO-CITY" (Dobropillya, Donetsk region), CO "Get a Friend" (Fontanka, Odesa region), CF "Without Borders" (Slyvyno, Mykolaiv region) and NGO "Public Legal Initiative" (Dobropillya, Donetsk region), NGO "ALF" (Zaporizhzhia), NGO "Vuhastystyky-Puhnastyky" (Zaporizhzhia).
There have been changes in terms of feed procurement, because since we applied for the project, the situation has deteriorated dramatically - in the regions where we have purchased feed, the situation has become catastrophic, so we have redirected our resources there.
We also received humanitarian food earlier and managed to transfer it to shelters in Sumy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Rivne regions, so we decided to help Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, which are also border areas.
The shelters in Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts have a large number of evacuated animals from the border regions, which also needed help.
