The youngest volunteer of 2025 is newborn Lina!

On their daughter's birthday, her parents initiated a fundraising campaign to support newborns in need of vital light therapy.

Lina's mother is Ukrainian from Lviv, and her father is German. The young parents, aged 24 and 26, are studying in Germany.

On October 19, 2025, their daughter was born, and they decided to turn this event into a good cause — helping babies in Ukraine.

Lina was born full-term in the comfortable conditions of a German maternity hospital. Her mother Maria admits that this was the impetus to support children who are born in hospitals that lack modern equipment. In particular, around 350 babies receive help every year at the Khmelnytsky Regional Hospital, most of whom are diagnosed with jaundice. Phototherapy is an effective and safe treatment method, but medical facilities need modern lamps for this.

The funds raised will be used to purchase phototherapy equipment as part of a charity project.

The campaign organizers sincerely thank Lina's parents, as well as their friends and family, for their support, which is turning into a chance for a healthy life for newborns in Khmelnytskyi.
