Announcement from the ICF Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace: Statement on the closing of dobro.ua

The ICF Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace announces that the charitable platform dobro.ua will close on October 7, 2026.

In 2012, the ICF Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace became one of the first online platforms in Ukraine to bring together donors, verified charitable organizations, and people in need of assistance. From the very beginning, the platform operated on the principles of transparency, security, and accountability.

Over the past 15 years, nearly 1 billion hryvnias have been raised through dobro.ua, more than 2 million charitable donations have been made, and over 10,000 charitable projects have been implemented by more than 140 charitable and civic organizations across Ukraine. Funds were raised here for the treatment and rehabilitation of children and adults, modern equipment for Ukrainian hospitals, aid for the military, support for families, and thousands of other important initiatives.

One of the key outcomes of dobro.ua’s work has been its contribution to shaping a new culture of philanthropy in Ukraine—a culture based on trust, transparency, and the understanding that anyone can help. The platform has become one of the tools through which regular charitable giving has become a common part of public life.

During this time, the charitable landscape in Ukraine has changed significantly. New technologies and fundraising methods have emerged, and donors and organizations now have more opportunities to interact directly. Under these circumstances, dobro.ua has fulfilled its mission as a standalone platform.

As of October 7, 2026, dobro.ua will no longer accept charitable donations. All obligations to donors, aid providers, partners, and aid recipients will be fulfilled. Funds already raised for active projects will be used in accordance with the platform’s current rules and procedures.

Once all necessary procedures have been completed, a final report on dobro.ua’s operations and the fulfillment of all obligations will be published.

We are proud that for 15 years, dobro.ua has been part of this process and has contributed to the development of systematic and transparent philanthropy in Ukraine. We are grateful to everyone who, together with us, has made philanthropy more accessible, transparent, and accountable. We believe that this experience will continue to benefit Ukrainian society in the future.
