The top 5 news on the platform. June-July 2025.

It would seem that summer is a time for vacations and slowing down. We are in a hurry to convince you otherwise! We have selected for you the coolest and most important charitable projects implemented in June-July!

In the two months of summer, we

  • implemented more than 138 charitable projects;
  • helped more than 6,000 people, including 120 who received targeted support;
  • provided equipment to 5 medical institutions.

Goodness consists of small but important steps. And each donor is a part of this story. Thank you for being with us! Let's share the good news.

Project "Wilidix is helping Children of Heroes 2", UCF Children of Heroes.

Thanks to the support of IT company Wildix, 162 children who lost one or both parents as a result of the Russian attack on Ukraine are now receiving health insurance.  The policy will cover the cost of treatment in case of illness or injury to the child for a year.

Among the insured are children with disabilities, orphans, IDPs, and children from large families. They are experiencing the loss of their closest people and continue to live in war conditions.  Most of the children are brought up in families with difficult financial situations. Therefore, the assistance provided is very important and gives families confidence in the future.

The project "Putting kids on their feet", dobro.ua.

In the catamnesis centers, preterm infants born after difficult childbirth are observed. It is here that specialists detect possible developmental disabilities in time and carry out early rehabilitation to give the child the best chance for a full life. In June, the dobro.ua team will transfer the verticalizer to the country's largest catamnesis center at the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology for the rehabilitation of children aged 3 to 5 years: DALMATIAN INVENTO.

This system will help children hold their bodies and stimulate muscle activity. We are sincerely grateful to everyone!

Project "Together for good deeds: nutrition without barriers", CF "Caritas Berdychiv UGCC".

Thanks to the care of philanthropists, a social kitchen has been operating in Berdychiv for three months. Volunteers prepare hot meals for the elderly. On dobro.ua we raise UAH 25,500 to buy food and disposable tableware.
Every Monday and Friday, the elderly receive delicious home-cooked meals: meat, salads, fresh pastries, and fruit. For many of them, this is the first hot meal in a long time, as many of them live in poverty and loneliness.

Project "Children's hope: help to the Dnipropetrovsk RMTCRZ. Onco 10", dobro.ua.

Together with Kyivstar, we continue to implement the Helping Children with Cancer charity program. As part of the initiative, at the end of June 2025, we will equip another ward of the Regional Medical Center for Family Health with new modern furniture.  The amount of assistance provided is UAH 228 thousand. More than 900 young patients are treated at the Center every year.  Children who are undergoing treatment and fighting cancer stay here. We believe that a cozy, well-appointed space will help young patients feel better, cheer them up and become part of the great fight for life.

Project "The most important wish for Mariyka is to walk.", Zaporuka Foundation.

At the age of 11, the girl overcame a serious illness - medulloblastoma (brain cancer): She underwent a complicated surgery to remove the tumor and a course of high-dose chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the tumor was large and damaged the areas of the brain responsible for motor functions. The girl has already completed three rehabilitation courses and learned to walk with crutches. To make her dream of walking on her own come true, we are raising 135,500 UAH.

At the end of May, Mariya continues her recovery at the Modrychi Medical Center (Lviv region). Thanks to the 21-day course, she is showing incredible results. The girl is gradually regaining her lost functions.

The dobro.ua platform operates thanks to voluntary contributions from philanthropists and annual grant support from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. We are sincerely grateful for the trust and contribution to the development of the service that helps thousands of people in Ukraine.
