The top 5 news on the platform.February 2025

February is the shortest month, but it's not about good deeds!

We are sharing with you news about our completed projects, and you will see for yourself that there is always a place and time for good!

The project ‘Children's Hope: Help for the Dnipro RCRC. Onco 9’, dobro.ua

Together with Kyivstar, we continue to implement the Children's Hope charity project!

In December 2024, the Regional Medical Centre for Family Health (Dnipro) will receive assistance in the area of ‘Helping children with cancer’. The hospital is renovating its intensive care units on its own.
Thanks to the support of Kyivstar subscribers, the hospital managed to purchase modern medical furniture for the comfort of young patients.
At the end of December, the furniture worth UAH 349,938 was delivered to the hospital. Now children fighting serious illnesses will be treated in comfortable conditions and feel even more care and support.

Project ‘Kurazh Garage Sale 2024: Come Back Alive 1’, the Come Back Alive Foundation.

Together we are bringing victory closer. In December 2024, the Come Back Alive Foundation will purchase and deliver 23 short-range FPV drones to the crew of the 81st Airmobile Brigade. This project is an important part of the large initiative ‘Eye for an Eye’ by the ‘Come Back Alive’ Foundation. The drones will help the military to obtain intelligence, coordinate operations and respond effectively to threats on the front line.

UAH 450,000 for the project was raised during the charity event Kurazh Garage Sale 2024 in October in Kyiv.

Project ‘Prostheses for the Unbroken’,  CF  ‘Medical Innovations’.

Between July and December 2024, seven more military and civilians received bionic prostheses as part of the Prostheses for the Unbreakable project on dobro.ua. Thanks to the support of philanthropists and partners, the unbreakable heroes can once again live an active life, work, do their favourite things, and most importantly, hug their families and feel the fullness of life. The total amount of components for the bionic prostheses and the cost of their manufacture and installation amounted to over UAH 4.3 million.

Project ‘Books in Braille: I want and can read! ’, LOO NGO ‘Ukrainian Union of People with Disabilities -USI’.

Thanks to the support of dobro.ua, blogger Anita Solovey and the team of the Ukrainian Union of People with Disabilities - ALL, even more blind children are able to read independently, discover new worlds and dream together with the characters of their favourite books.

Here's what we're doing for children in the second half of 2024:

-Publishing 13 new books in Braille;

-Produce and send 380 copies to blind children and specialised schools;

-record 7 audiobooks so that young listeners can immerse themselves in the world of literature through the voices of actors and magical sound effects.

Behind each book is the hard work of editors, actors, musicians, sound engineers, and blind children.

Project ‘Food parcels for the elderly in Kherson’, Let's Help Charitable Foundation of Ukraine.

Let's Help continues to support people who stay in their homes even under fire. We raised UAH 137,570 for those in critical conditions. In December and January, we buy, pack and send 140 food parcels weighing 15 kg each to the frontline areas. Delivery to the war zone is a real challenge! Post offices do not operate in the ‘red zone’, so volunteers of the Brotherhood of Good Hearts Charity Organisation deliver the aid to the frontline, risking their lives to feed the elderly in Kherson, Pokrovsk and Kharkiv.

The work of dobro.ua is made possible by voluntary contributions from philanthropists and the annual support of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. We are sincerely grateful for your trust and contribution to the development of the service that helps thousands of people in Ukraine.

Join us and together we can do even more!
