The top 5 news on the platform. August 2025.

August was an incredibly busy month at dobro.ua.
Together with our partners and operators, we are providing hospitals with equipment, supporting the wounded, restoring freedom of movement to our heroes, helping teenagers find tools to deal with their emotions, and giving backpacks to children for school. We are also furnishing new homes for internally displaced families with everything they need.
We maintain this rhythm of kindness thanks to you.
We share news about completed projects and sincerely thank everyone who joins us in our good deeds.
Project "Kurazh: Opening of the 2025 season", CF "Dobrodiy Club".
During the opening of the new season of Kurazh, with the support of partners and visitors, we are raising over 417,000 hryvnias for the “Place of Strength” project from the Dobrodiy Club. This is a transformational space for teenagers aged 10–17 who have experienced loss, isolation, displacement, or other traumatic events.
Throughout June and July, 60 group sessions are held for 933 participants in various areas: body-oriented therapy, art therapy sessions, storytelling, discussion club, and others. Teens discover tools for self-expression and working with emotions, learn to regulate their own state, reduce anxiety, which contributes to better integration into society. Participants include children of defenders, IDP families, and teens with disabilities.
Project "Prostheses for the Unbroken", CF "Medical Innovations".
As part of the Prosthetics for the Unbroken project, four patients at the UNBROKEN Center who have lost limbs will receive high-tech prosthetics during the second quarter of 2025. Each of them has their own war story, their own path to recovery, and their own barriers to overcome. Step by step, they are returning to their normal lives: playing sports again, taking on new challenges, and proving that a prosthesis is not a limitation, but freedom of movement and new opportunities. The total amount of assistance provided is UAH 1,996,564. Both military personnel and civilians receive assistance at the Center. The project is ongoing.
Project "Charity Star Kurazh 2025: CF “RAYON NUMBER 1", CF “RAYON NUMBER 1.”
In the village of Germanivka near Kyiv, new frame houses are opening their doors to families who have been left homeless due to the war. Thanks to the efforts of the Rayon Number 1 Charitable Foundation team and funds raised at Zirkovyi Kurazh, in July 2025 we purchased furniture and appliances to furnish the houses. Now there is everything necessary for a comfortable life for families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. It is a safe space where you can stay with your children, celebrate, and create new warm memories.
Within the framework of the project, 62 people receive assistance for a total amount of UAH 984,128.
Project "Children's hope: help to the Odessa regional hospital. Cardiac surgery 5", dobro.ua.
Together with Kyivstar subscribers, we are continuing to implement the Children's Hope charity program and providing children's hospitals throughout Ukraine with the necessary equipment. In July–August 2025, the cardiovascular surgery department of the Odesa Regional Children's Hospital will receive new modern equipment:
-high-quality surgical instruments that allow doctors to perform heart surgery on children with maximum precision;
-a device for warming patients, which helps to avoid hypothermia and complications with blood clotting during operations;
-a MultiMed 5 module for anesthesia and respiratory equipment, which ensures stable operation of the equipment and continuous monitoring of vital signs.
The total amount of assistance is UAH 346,879.
Project "School dream – a backpack for a special child", CF "Dream to live".
Thanks to donors on dobro.ua, we are raising 42,660 hryvnia to help children with special needs prepare for school. In August, 100 schoolchildren with disabilities from all over Ukraine, accompanied by the “I Want to Live” Foundation, will receive new comfortable backpacks, selected according to the age and physical abilities of the child. This annual initiative of the foundation gives children a sense of care, support, and joy at the beginning of the school year.
The dobro.ua platform operates thanks to voluntary contributions from donors and annual grant support from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. We are sincerely grateful for your trust and contribution to the development of a service that helps thousands of people in Ukraine.
