11 surgeries over, but Vitalik does not give up

Vitalik is a special patient. Doctors say, that during all the time the children's department of neurosurgery exists, they didn't have such a patient. Vitalik underwent 11 operations. Now the boy has to overcome one more obstacle – he needs an operation to change the titanium plate. But it is too expensive for his single mother. One can tell a lot about Vitalik's disease. But the most important is that after 11 operations performed in the Institute of neurosurgery named after A.P. Romodanov, the boy continues to develop.

And he started talking! After the hemorrhage when Vitalik was 2, he didn't talk at all.It is a positive beginning, the breakthrough,which was expected only by few people. It is the result of the hard work of the specialists and all those people who supported the boy in trouble.

Despite of scary diagnosis and half of the the life spent in hospitals,Vitalik still has love for life.He is a very cheerful, sociable kid though he has speech difficulties.His mother is also a very positive person. Despite of life challenges she sees the beauty of the world and writes touching poems.

In January 2015 at the plate in his skull rose Vitalik edge. There was a threat of internal injuries – soft tissue gap. The only way out – the replacement titanium plate, which does not need to "fix" every time, and will not need every time to go under the knife.
