On January 16, 2026, the project “11 Years of Struggle: Let’s Save Ivan” was posted on the dobro.ua platform of the International Charitable Foundation “UBB,” with a total goal of 325,400.00 UAH to fund Ivan Kushnin’s treatment at the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “OKHMATDIT.” The goal of the project was to raise funds for a boy with a complex diagnosis—“Occlusive posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus, condition following multiple craniotomies. Ventricular catheter dysfunction.” This condition posed a direct threat to the child’s life and required surgical intervention on the brain. To save Ivan, on February 27, 2026, and March 17, 2026, doctors performed complex neurosurgical procedures to reduce intracranial pressure and stabilize Ivan’s condition. Currently, Ivan is under medical supervision and is recovering from surgery.
