3-year-old Sasha needs to go to rehab. 2
Sashenka has already applied for the help of UBB donors and got great support. But ICP is such a disease that requires constant rehabilitations and recovery therapy.
Sashenka looks at the world that surrounds him with interest. Slowly with great effort he makes movements on the way of his children fight with disease. Here he tries to hold his head up himself, to turn it aside and to look at his mother…He pushes away with his legs, but he rather try to push away because he is eager to crawl on his stomach… As if he says, “Mummy, I can, look, I am very strong, you just believe… Why are you crying, mummy?...”
Mother is very anxious to believe it. What most of her life she wants is to see her son healthy and joy. The doctors assure that it be can real in conditions of intensive treatment, indeed according to the statistics 80 % of ICP children can be cured with almost complete recovery. Medical Center of Physical Therapy and Pain Medicine “INNOVO” in the city of Lviv provides such treatment.
Sashenka had already medical treatment in this clinic and his condition is improved significantly: he became more active, emotional, his movement coordination improved. That is why it is very important to continue the restorative treatment as yet the body is small and reacts the treatment with progress. The parents don’t want to waste any minute of their child’s treatment. While wasting time, the irreversible damages can occur and the functional recovery will be impossible.
But Sashenka’s parents cannot always provide the necessary treatment that he so needs. That is why the family pleads to help as all kids are our kids, and a pain in child’s eyes as a cry to everybody: “I am alive and my heart beats like yours. You can save me, just hold your hand and I can stand up on my feet, I can walk and even maybe I can run… But there is nothing impossible, till there are kind people in this world!”.
