40 = happiness

Once there were 38 parrots, 39 = 2 (although it turned out 3), and now 40 = happiness. Forty is happiness :) I thought about what to dedicate this collection to and understood that it was equality and happiness. This is a unique space. Inclusiveness. I want people with disabilities to have work, their interests and their lives over time. The same. As we have with you. I write and cry, this is something between happiness, that I can do everything myself and pain, that someone needs much more effort. The whole universe of faith and support. The workshop is needed so that they draw, make, sew, communicate and study.

In order not to sit in four walls and not feel lonely. So that they have what everyone deserves. Communication and support. Environment for self-realization. So that they live in a world where disability has a decent future.

Creative workshop "SO" is a space for young people with disabilities (18+), whose philosophy is equality and improving the quality of life.
The creative workshop "SO" works in different directions, where a decent life for people with disabilities is the norm, and not an exception.

In 2019-2020 the workshop will work in two directions - Manufactory "Home Decor" and "Platform for the preparation of official employment" in Kyiv, Lobanovskyi Avenue, 6B, three times a week: on Monday, 15:00-19:00, Wednesday 15:00-19:00 and Friday 10:00-18:00.

This collection is the half-year of the workshop.

Workshop students, adults with disabilities, make handmade souvenirs. Here they learn to communicate with others so that the world understands them. In the direction of "Preparation for employment", students train their social and labor skills, receive support at the workplace. A visit to the workshop gives our students the opportunity to realize their life and creative potential.
