5 units for the price of 1? It's a deal!

Inhalers are vitally important for our Foundation's patients – the children wouldn't be able to breathe without them. For the last 8 years, the Foundation has acquired 239 units. Even though we purchase the most powerful, high-quality models we can find out there, even they tend to break with time. And then they need to be replaced urgently since a cystic fibrosis patient cannot afford to discontinue his/her inhalations' treatment even for a single day.

 The new Pari inhaler costs 6,500 UAH, while regular repair of the one unit (to include the cost of the spare parts that wear out most often and cost of the repair work itself) costs the Foundation ~1,200-1,300 UAH. After the repair, the unit can be used for another year or two, or even three (depending on the intensity of its use and complexity of the drugs being inhaled). When an inhaler starts malfunctioning, it is best, financial-wise, to send it first to a service center, especially if it's its first failure, there's a high likelihood that the unit will resume its normal operation after the repair.

 Initially, we were able to manage on our own or with our friends' help. However, as of today, the Foundation has quite a few units in stock, most of which have been heavily used for several years, so we have more and more requests to help pay for their repair coming in. And now we need your assistance to be able to pay for all the bills on time and to return the units to their owners ASAP, for they need them in order to live.
