Take a walk through a wheat field under the Ukrainian sky. See unique exhibits: a 20-meter Cossack boat called a chaika, Ivan Mazepa's saber, a sword from the times of Kievan Rus, and great Ukrainian achievements from the times of Ukraine's independence, including Andriy Shevchenko's Golden Ball, Oleksandr Usyk's championship belt, Eurovision statuettes, the Nobel Prize, and the Oscar. Fly in virtual reality over Bakota, Syvash, and the Carpathians, get into a pink train car, attend the final rehearsal of “Rebellion” by MUR, and visit the set of “The Witch of Konotop.” All this and much more will be possible from September 26 to November 9 at Ukraine WOW.
The goal of Ukraine WOW is to immerse visitors in Ukrainian heritage and historical continuity, which give us the strength to create the future. So that everyone who comes to the exhibition feels connected to the outstanding Ukrainians of the past and proud of how, despite the great war, wow moments are happening today. I realized that wow is a verb that each of us creates.
'The Ukraine WOW: The Heirs' exhibition is a large-scale cultural project designed to remind Ukrainians what we are fighting for, showcase our achievements and victories, and unite, support and inspire us. It is an updated version of the legendary Ukraine WOW project, which attracted more than 333 thousand visitors in 2019, making it the most popular exhibition in the history of independent Ukraine. In 2025, Ukraine WOW returns with a new focus — as a tribute to our country, its invincibility, and its future.
The project is a modern Ukrainian cultural product combining art, technology, personal stories, and live emotions. The exhibition will consist of several zones with interactive installations, audiovisual experiences, artworks, cultural artefacts and symbolic objects from the present day. Particular focus will be given to the theme of continuity: we aim to demonstrate that we are the heirs of our language, land, culture, and struggle, and that we are also creating a new heritage for future generations.
The exhibition will be held in Kyiv, in a hangar near the Museum of Railway Transport at the Central Railway Station — a place of great symbolism, associated with movement, return, hope and new beginnings. The project has a charitable element to support initiatives related to the country's recovery. The exhibition will run from 26 September to 9 November, with the possibility of extension.
'Ukraine WOW: Heirs' is more than just an exhibition. It is an opportunity to reflect on who we are, what we are proud of, what we are grateful for and what we believe in. At this challenging time for Ukraine, the exhibition aims to provide visitors with a sense of home, dignity, and unbreakable hope.
The concept and implementation of the exhibition are the responsibility of the NGO Ukraine WOW and the Gres Todorchuk agency.
