More than 2 million hryvnias to save the lives of little Ukrainians! We became a charitable partner in the implementation of the project on the dobro.ua platform and donated an expensive anesthesia station for the indestructible patients of Lviv's St. Nicholas Hospital, a medical hub for injured and sick children from all over the country.
The story of the amazing union of caring Ukrainians began in the winter. The charity platform dobro.ua and the Unbreakable Center launched a collection called "Miracle for Unbreakable Kids". The goal is to purchase an extremely important anesthesia station, without which it is impossible to perform the most complex surgical interventions. This equipment allows for high precision control of the patient's vital functions during operations and creates the necessary level of safety. No complex surgery can be performed without it.
Since the beginning of the Great War, the workload at St. Nicholas Hospital has tripled. This place has become a salvation for hundreds of little Ukrainians who were wounded. The doctors asked for help. They had only one anesthesia and breathing apparatus, but needed three. In order to be able to help everyone in need, our doctors had to operate on patients in several shifts - even at night.
The cost of one device is UAH 2.2 million. Every day, one of these devices allows to perforate 7 small patients. This is more than 2 thousand children's lives saved per year.
Hundreds of people have shown that they care about the needs of children's hospitals and saving children. 1544 donations ranging from 1 hryvnia to 30 thousand. And people did it - they raised all the money needed for the anesthesia station.
Representatives of socially responsible businesses, opinion leaders and concerned citizens made an invaluable contribution to the healthy future of Ukrainian children. We thank each and everyone who supports charitable projects on dobro.ua in such dark and difficult times that can improve the conditions of medical care for our children.
