Since then, the habitual and simple things for many children for Andrii the result of trials, pain, numerous rehabilitation, and titanic efforts. Swift childbirth in his mother, and here he appears on the world for 7 months of mother's pregnancy. Weighing just 2 kilograms... The child is immediately taken to resuscitation. For several days he himself did not even breathe, instead of his mother's arms – an incubation apparatus, and instead of milk – mixtures through the probe. But in a month Andrii is prescribed, and his mother was encouraged: he will cope.

But this was just the beginning of a path full of a desperate struggle for life. The word "mother" he first pronounced only in nine years and his first step went to 11. Even when Andrii was not there, and the year Sonya, the boy's mother, began to notice – the son is not like everyone. He did not hold his head, did not turn over from the stomach on the back, he was not interested in toys, Andrii simply did not look at them, later it turned out to be squinting. The diagnosis was indisputable.

All 12 years of Andrii's life is the struggle for him to become if not healthy, at least independent. They tried all the methods – swimming pool, massage, medical gymnastics, hobby classes, swimming with dolphins, painful botox injections – they relax the muscles, and then they put the gypsum on the leg for a whole month to level out - and so already 10 times. Resorted to radical – operations on the legs. There are results – Andrii goes to school. The boy is already in the second class, although he learns individually. He can count up to 10, and it already shows that his intellect is preserved, and hence there is potential.

Thanks to UBB donors, in 2018, Andrii managed to undergo two rehabilitation in the RC "Step by Step". The results of rehabilitation can be proud of, because the child is sitting alone, with support walking, holds even back. They became less closed hands and legs, thus reducing the pain and the child is better sleeping at night. Any letter can be spoken – this is the biggest achievement since there were 3-4 sounds and the word "mom". With each rehab, Andriiko becomes more independent, even tries to undress and dress independently, holds a fork and tries to eat independently.

We are very grateful for the support of our ward because every rehab is a small boost to independence. In no way can stop, because work and achievements will disappear.
