Ania dreams of becoming a first-grader

Ania is a future first-grader. Despite her chronic disease – cystic fibrosis, the girl has a chance to live a normal life and go to school together with her peers. In order to do this she shouldn't miss the next course of preventive treatment. Medicines for this treatment cost more than 16 thousand UAH. We can help this girl go to primary school in September, and to open the door to her future!

At first glance, this cute little girl isn't different from her peers and friends. But she suffers from cystic fibrosis, which is an incurable genetic disease. Anna will be able to live long and full life with this disease only if she follow some rules. And one of those rules is to undergo courses of preventive treatment twice a year. In addition to these courses she constantly undergoes physical therapy, receives enzymes, and sometimes – antibiotics and mucolytics. Family budget should always include expenses for her treatment and medicines.

Anna is clever and active child and has her own point of view. She likes dancing and doing gymnastics, attends school of early development, and is preparing for something new in her life – for going to school for the first time. She has many friends with whom she likes to play and go for a walk. Also she likes animals. At home she has a parrot named Kesha, a cat named Tom and a turtle named Turtyla. All her pets are named as the famous cartoon characters.

Anna is the only child. There was another child in the Volkovs family but unfortunately that child died at an early age. And now when Anna is diagnosed with "mucoviscidosis" doctors believe that the cause of death of another child was the same hereditary disease that was not diagnosed in time. Anna is the only joy and hope of her parents.

That is why we appeal to you for help. Undergoing of the next course of treatment is very important for Anna. It will allow her to go to the first grade together with her peers. Let's help Anna to start primary school this year.
