Anna Gvozdiar: I run to help the hero!

Anna Gvozdiar, volunteer in Central military hospital, brave girl helped soldiers on the front line.On Sunday 28 May, I will be running in the city Dnipro charity race "The Victors" 2 km as part of the Dnipro Half Marathon, to help the wounded ATO veteran Ruslan Murayev buy a sports prosthetic arm.

I will run for Ruslan and ask others to get involved. These guys, like Ruslan, are sincere, courageous, strong – the future of our Ukraine! He must go in for sports and return to normal life and we support this and show others that we remember and appreciate.

Before the injury, Ruslan was a boxer and now he seeks to identify possible sports opportunities, and this requires a new modern prosthesis, which he can use during training. The cost of the sport prosthetic arm and components is 103 thousand UAH.

Ruslan lost his hand to an explosion while fighting in the Crymske village. The hero served as a volunteer in the 93rd Brigade. He is from Krivoy Rog city and now undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in Kyiv. Despite the difficult life conditions, Ruslan hasn’t given up and has plans for the future. His main dream is to have a family, a dream which will soon be realized in August when Ruslan will be getting married.
