Internal public areas preserve marble facing, well saved wooden construction and forged elements.
L’viv literally saturated with architectural masterpieces of different epochs beginning from early Kiev Rus until impressive Renaissance buildings and masterpieces of Austrian modernism. In the beginning of 20th. Century L’viv survived a construction boom and architectural ideas were flourishing. In this period created building of various styles as “modernized Renascence” and so called “Svijskiy style”. Roman Felinski was one of the most productive architects of this epoch and produced many projects that realized into 25 constructions made by the construction company Michal Ulam. Buildings partially based on the modernistic ideas mixed with motives of the local renaissance and baroque. Some of them include German expressionism with elements of stylish classicism. Felinski himself also created sketches of facades and sometimes managed construction works. His heritage was indicated thanks to the catalogue of the company Michal Ulam of 1913 with pictures of the constructed buildings.
Felinski heritage is still waiting for its researcher because of geographical distribution of his works. Many of his theoretical works, sketches and projects has been lost during the Second World War. Nevertheless, he is known as an author of 150 constructions made, 30 general plans and more than 100 printed professional articles and works.
