Artem dreams of overcoming epilepsy and freely

Artem has a very kind and sincere heart! Artem is a cheerful child, but the only thing that does not give him peace of mind is epileptic seizures! In order to avoid them, Artem must constantly take anticonvulsant medication, which both blocks seizures and greatly inhibits the child's development. Therefore, the boy has to undergo rehabilitation every two months, attend classes with a speech therapist and psychologist, and maintain his physical condition, massage and physical education!

Until 9 months, Artem was a healthy child, but then he had his first seizure, which lasted for one hour. The boy was taken to the hospital for examination, an MRI of his head was done, which showed that Artem had genetic epilepsy, Dandy-Walker syndrome and a pineal gland cyst. Artem was also diagnosed with a delay in psycho-speech and motor development, muscle hypotonia syndrome, and flatfoot deformity, and was recommended to take medication on a regular basis to block seizures.

Until the age of three, Artem did not walk on his own. His parents did everything on their own to help the child stand on his own and take his first steps. At the age of three, his parents decided to take Artem to the sea for rehabilitation. He began to feel better, and the fresh air did him good. Despite this, he constantly needs to take seizure medications, which, unfortunately, cannot block epilepsy 100%. Artem still has frequent seizures.

Now Artem is 5 years old. Every six months he is hospitalized and examined by a psychiatrist and a neurologist, and every year he needs to have a nighttime encephalogram. His parents have always tried to treat their son at their own expense, but now the time has come when his father cannot pay for all of Artem's needs! The family lives on the father's salary alone, and the mother has been unemployed for 5 years because she is always with her child. The parents sincerely believe and hope for help, and are asking for funds for the rehabilitation of their only son.
