Artem lost his hearing due to a car accident

Artem is 18 years old. He was born into a large family and has four other brothers and sisters. When he was 5 years old, he had a misfortune – the boy got into a car accident, which resulted in hearing loss, Artem was diagnosed with chronic bilateral sensorineural hearing loss of the 4th degree. Since then, Artem has been wearing hearing aids. Unfortunately, the boy has outgrown them, and now he needs new hearing aids. The family does not have the means to provide expensive devices for the child, because all resources are spent on meeting the basic needs of all children.

Artem is in the final year of the Berezovsk Special Boarding School and is actively involved in school life, including sports, where he has already achieved some success. Artem has participated in national volleyball competitions and has won many awards in this sport.

In the future, he wants to study to become an electrician.

The lack of hearing aids makes it difficult for a hearing impaired person to communicate with society. The ability to hear helps us avoid dangerous and even life-threatening situations. At the moment, Artem is understood only at school and in his family, and he is going to study at a higher education institution and master a profession, so to achieve success, Artem needs hearing aids.
