During the rehabilitation course, which lasted from June 4, 2024 to June 13, 2024, Arthur, in addition to doctor's consultations, underwent a course of therapeutic physical education, therapeutic massage, physiotherapy, speech therapy and psychological correction, mud therapy. Therapeutic physical education is necessary for Arthur to strengthen muscles, which is important in cerebral palsy, where muscle weakness is often observed, improve coordination of movements and balance, which helps to facilitate the performance of everyday tasks, learn new motor skills and improve existing ones, improve overall physical endurance. Therapeutic massage provides several positive effects at once, especially important in cerebral palsy: reducing muscle spasticity and tension, which is a characteristic feature of cerebral palsy, and improving blood circulation and lymph flow in the affected limbs. In addition, it helps to reduce pain syndrome, which may occur due to spasticity or incorrect body position. Speech therapy classes help improve articulation and speech clarity, develop language comprehension, teach alternative ways of communicating when verbal communication is significantly difficult, improve swallowing function, and prevent feeding problems.
