Like thunder in the clear sky, the diagnosis of autism invaded Kira's life when she was 4. There is no time to sit and feel sorry for the girl, her family needs to do something, because autism is not a life sentence. Therefore, Kira's family makes an incredible effort to help the girl adapt to life, improve her mental development, learn to communicate with others.

Kira was a long-awaited child in the family. The girl's mother dreamed of a daughter, a cheerful, restless, mother's helper, made plans for her future. And the diagnosis "autism" became an obstacle to everything, a terrible blow to the family. At the age of 2.5, Kira's mother began to notice that the child did not behave like children of her age. The family began to see the specialists and within a year it turned out that Kira had autism. She received a disability status and began constant rehabilitations. All this time, the girl worked continuously with correctional teachers, had hippotherapy, dolphin therapy.

Kira is a cheerful, positive girl who attends kindergarten, she is open to communication with adults and children, restless and active in everyday life. But the girl does not speak, being 5 years old she has not yet said a word, she is not able to control her behavior (she often gets hysterical, expresses her protests with screams, negative reactions). The girl needs constant help from adults.

Thanks to the support of caring people, Kira regularly undergoes rehabilitation courses and this has a very positive effect on her development: lately she has begun to show greater interest in learning, has become calmer, enjoys studying letters, and makes words out of them.

"Kira is very fond of studying and all classes are a joy to her. By nature, this is a very gentle and cheerful child, Kira always starts her classes with hugs. At the moment, I have already exhausted all my resources, so I am asking for help, as there is still a lot of work and rehabilitation ahead", says Kira's mother.

Kira's results are hopeful and inspiring. But she needs to continue rehabilitation courses to start talking, and say the first most important word in life – "mom".
